Volumes: 1 (ongoing)Synopsis: I'm just going to quote what Frog-kun wrote on Twitter for a plot synopsis (it's a bit long so I'm putting it in a spoiler):
Frog-kun's Twitter thread on the title linked above gives some great praise overall for this one and is largely why I'm writing this rec thread. Seems like it's a nice fantasy romance with good character writing, which I'm always up for. It also some genre-defying aspects like a mystery to solve. This should appeal to fans of Elf Bride and fantasy and romance in general, and is one I definitely would love to see picked up!

It's related to another series of the same author, babel. (in a sense, both are in the same world, so it probably have a few cameo or references to it)

The covers are absolutely beautiful, amazing art.
I'll give this an upvote because of the art and the synopsis which seems interesting, my only problem with the series, is that it might be trying to do to much.
Personally I would be ok with this just being a romcom, but then again maybe that is just my own craving for more laid back stories that aren't necessarily action filled.

This ranked #1 on the tankobon list for the 2020 Kono Light Novel Ga Sagoi. Please let this mean someone will license it this coming year.

True, but that won't stop me from dreaming : )
86 and Tomozaki had been on the list 2 years in a row (and not at the top spot) before they were licensed; Rust Eater was only on there once and didn't make the list this year. Maybe if Unnamed Memory makes the list again next year, it'll stand a better chance of getting licensed? I wish there was a way to let Yen Press know there's interest. -
Really hoping that J-Novel will pick this up soon. I heard many good things about this series, and good fantasy is a scarcity these days.
