      Title: Tokyo Ravens (東京レイヴンズ)
Links: LNDB | MAL | NU

      alt text

Publisher: Fujimi Fantasia Bunko (Fujimi Shobo)
      Author: Azano Kouhei
      Illustrator: Sumihei
      Volume count: 18 Volumes (Ongoing)
      Manga adaptation?: Yes
      Anime Adaptation?: Yes

Sinopse: Tsuchimikado Harutora was born into a prestigious Onmyoji family, but he can't see "spirit energy." Therefore, he's been enjoying a peaceful daily life with his friends at an Onmyo branch school. One day, his childhood friend Tsuchimikado Natsume, heir to the head family, suddenly appears. Will this cause his destiny spring into motion!?

Why?: I wonder why no one added it so far. Nowadays you hardly see a supernatural novel .

Somehow I missed this license suggestion thread, I am also surprised no one else has put a comment in support. It is possibly because the series has become obscure over the years.

Prior to the DMCA on a certain fan translation site, I was an avid fan of this series, though the translator at the time kind of disappeared, so we never reached the end stages of the volume which was being translated. I find it enjoyable, with comedy elements, as well as a serious undertone.

Would I buy it, absolutely. Anyone who is interested, the best I could suggest is having a look at the anime series, which I thought was relatively faithful, though did appear to skip aspects of the novel.

Would I buy this, absolutely. The series was first published in 2010, so it is approaching a decade in age, but it is not too big (I hope) which would become a bulwark in non-licensing.

        Author of Praetor's Blood.

I'm also a large fan of this series. There were some.. twists that were unappreciated in the most recent volumes but I'd say that the first big arc that went up to volume 9 was brilliant and I'd recommend anyone to try out the anime if they want a taste. While some things in the anime come out of nowhere(if you weren't paying enough attention atleast) it does a decent enough job of covering that first arc.

This series can rival Bookworm in terms of length. There are quite a few volumes with 400+ pages and one even has 512!

Of all the unlicensed translations this is among the top 3 I really want. Adding my vote!
