I've been recording the licenses for a while on a wiki page on /r/LightNovels. While I was updating it with the 3 new licenses, I've noticed that Ascendance of a Bookworm is the 50th announced license. So congratulations! Here are some fun stats.

      • Total # of Publishers: 11
      • Isekai (23/50)
      • Completed (10/50)
      • Defunct (1/50)
      • Series with Print Editions (14/50)

Less then half...it’s almost like Sam is purposely keeping it close to the line without going over, that way no one can honestly say most of what JNC publishes is isekai...

Sorry but J-Novel Club does not publicly comment on any potential licensing decision or acquisitions.

@rahul-balaggan In reality 25 since Evolution Girl (the second story of Last and first idole) is an isekai and so is Echo which where likely the 2 which weren't count, so half of JNC serie are isekai and more if you count VRMMO stories as isekai like some people do.

Do you like death, war and misery ?
Do you like badass op loli who let nobody got in their way ?
            Do you like vengeance story?
If so then then vote for The girl who ate a death god

              Congratulations, JNC.

(Also, looked at that list... are you telling me JNC never actually licensed 'My Little Ponii Can Read Kanji!'? Scandalous :P)

              Stay shiny, y'all.
