      A bug report:

I read the first part of Faraway Paladin V.3 on my phone and when I tried to view the same part on Google Chrome in my laptop, it was stuck at the end of the part. I can't reread the part.

      Here is the screenshot.

      Edit: Fixed it myself xD

Regarding the other people getting stuck at the 100% screen, I also had this issue and posted a thread about it. Thankfully this response helped me to get round the issue:

I've had this happen to me too.

There's probably a bug somewhere to be squashed, but some workarounds in the meantime:

        • in the case of the first part, a way to re-read it is to log off (or open another browser) to read it as a guest.
        • When reading any part that's not the first, go to the end of the previous part and click "next part," which should bring you to 0% properly on the following chapter you were stuck at 100% on (at least that works for me).

is there a size limit on cover photo? I'm trying to upload a 3.5 mb image and it keeps getting errors.

there is no size limited stated btw

                Nyaa~

@gdp740 You mean for the forum profile? Hmm, not sure. But 2.5 MB for any image is pretty high, try compressing it to a jpg or lowering the resolution.

https://docs.nodebb.org/nb_NO/latest/admin/outline.html talks about a "Maximum User Image Size" setting which might mean file size. There will also probably be server and/or PHP side general limits for uploading files. I agree that 2.5 MB is pretty high.

                    Stay shiny, y'all.

Yeah I checked and the default max filesize and "profile cover" size limit is 2MB.

                      Just resize it down, please.

@Sam-Pinansky i see, 2mb huh, thanks. I'd recommend stating maximum size

Since profile photo has one stated while cover photo doesn't

                        Nyaa~

Just to be clear I am using A windows 10 operating system and browsing using firefox, now take a look at this.

I encountered this bug when I was reading on my tablet and encountered the images will not display glitch, I decided to switch to my PC but then I encountered the above problem. To explain whats going on here I cannot scroll the pages at all, it is literally stuck on that screen and any attempt to turn the pages back or forward is futile. If you have any further questions feel free to ask.

Incidentally, in Account > My Library, Grimgar Vol 2 is showing the Japanese cover.

When I try to read part 3 of the prepub for Grimgar volume 4, it skips to 51% and shows me the "here's other stuff to read" screen.

It's a bug that needs to be fixed, but in the meantime, go to volume 4 part 2, click though until you get to the end (you may not have to click), then click "next part" and that should bring you to 0% on part 3.

@hatguy12 That...sorta worked. Went to Part 2, skipped to Part 3, deleted all my cookies and cache, permitted everything in NoScript.

Now I can get Part 3, but not Part 2. Persists even after nuking all my cookies & cache again.

But I AM back to where I was, so...thanks!

I wasn't initially gonna mention this as I usually just "go with the flow", but I've been wondering. Before, the side bar at "unread" used to show how many posts/comments that I haven't read, but lately it doesn't show anything. But I can see all the unread posts when I click on it. If I remember correctly, it used to show the number of unread posts in red and white colours

It's not a major problem or anything, just thought I'd mention it... If it matters I'm using Google chrome on a Huawei tablet, can't remember the exact model though.

@ImIlyaz I think that happened since the last forum update. It also appears to sporadically work, but then the unread post count freezes until I reload the site. This happens with a variety of mobile and desktop browsers.

I sometimes run into a bug where flipping the page near the end of the book will skip the last few pages and jump to the "completed" page at 100%. I am able flip back and view the skipped pages just fine.

My most common way of reading on my pc is two page spread, clicking the page to flip (rather than arrows). Most of the time, this bug doesn't occur; when it does occur, it's usually just one or two pages, but occasionally 5+ pages. This bug doesn't repeat with any pattern I've noticed, so I can't suggest how to reproduce the error; but I'm just posting to document the issue at least.
