Kirie Kagarino Figurine (18+) NSFW
-
Then, I guess buying a huge ass bookshelf is a must for me. Gotta visit IKEA and check the prices soon.
-
@Hakomari I just did that last year during boxing day and the 2 display cases and 1 bookshelf I bought are already full...
The packaging for Native is normally pretty discreet. So if you buy this figurine and don't open it or keep it in the box no one will know what it is. -
@Hakomari if you don't wanna go 18+ figurines you could always buy nendoroids. I only have 3 myself but I can actually openly display them which is something I enjoy
Also make sure that bookcase is HUGE REALLY HUGE in the long run it will be better.

@Rahul-Balaggan I simply got a lock for my room lol. No one but me goes in my room
-
@Bryan between my sister sometimes coming over with my very young nephews or my parents dropping in unannounced I can't afford those liberties...otherwise I would have to explain why my door is locked.
Although both my sisters know I collect Manga, Light novels, and Doujinshi.
-
Thanks, that is actually a great idea. Nendroids are often cheaper as well. And a really big bookshelf as well. Got it!
-
@Rahul-Balaggan At a certain point it isn't a question why your door is locked. You simply lock it and they don't ask.
-
@Bryan yeah...not with an Indian family.
My sister still asks me why I chose to travel to LA for Anime Expo instead of hanging out with them on the 4th of July.
-
Well I am moving out in July anyway, and I am pretty sure my roommate won't be bothered by them.
That is quite the speed you have got there filling those shelves lol.
-
@Rahul-Balaggan I'd get my sister to go with me. Lol introduce them to anime first. Then they won't question it. Me and my sister went to Japan and went to many Anime places to shop.
@Hakomari Just remember there's a deadline for the preorder on this. -
@Bryan My sister won't even watch Disney movies with her own kids...she is like I have you for all that cartoon stuff.
And I just sit there...shaking my head.
-
@Rahul-Balaggan They need to know Anime isn't Cartoon. Anime is like saying Entertainment but Japanese Entertainment. Anime can be a movie, tv series, drama, etc. It's simply the difference between drawn and real people. Like Re:zero and Attack on titan are definitely not for kids.
-
Yeah I saw that in the link. BTW, you are absolutely right about introducing anime to family members XD. I got one of my little bros into watching anime and now he watches twice as much as I do (He hardly studies anymore though, so I may have ruined his future). And he got my other little bro into watching anime. Now half of the family watches anime and our parents just laugh at us. They haven't seen us watching ecchi anime yet so they still think we are watching 'cartoon'.
-
What do you mean they aren't for children?? Didn't you know I was planning to show Berserk and Re:Zero to my children? They need to know what it means to really suffer. Don't know whether the plot or animating of Berserk will traumatise them the most though. (I AM GONNA BE A HORRIBLE PARENT...)
-
@Hakomari Haha well get your parents to go watch "Your Name" and they will change their thoughts on Anime
-
@Bryan I watched all of Anohana with my sisters and they were both like...it's good but it's a cartoon.
And they never watched anime again.
My oldest sister actually read 3 volumes of A Brides Story before saying that this whole Japanese media thing is not for her.
Although she admitted it was a good premise and the art was nice she didn't wanna go forward.
For the past 2 months I have been trying to convince her to read The Faraway Paladin, and I have sent her lots of snippets here and there from both volumes but she still says no.
-
@Hakomari more like PARENT Of THE YEAR
-
@Bryan
Don't wanna XDIt is better if they think I watch cartoon. Better If they think I am a childish 19 year old than a 19 year old that watches cute lolis doing cute things.
