I am going a little bit stupid and crazy here but hear me out lol

Title: Ore no Lovecome Heroine wa, Pantsu ga Hakenai.
Publisher: Fujimi Fantasia Bunko (Fujimi Shobo
Awards: The 27th Fantasia Grand Prize "Silver Award"
Status: 3 volumes (all written in one year)
      alt text
      ummmm

There is no available synopsis in English but I'll try and explain what I got:

The MC, Yayoi Oikawa (not sure if that's the right reading) has some trauma with girls...but he learned the weird secret of one school beauty, Hoshiya-san (not sure if that's the right reading), and that is she can't keep her panties on without it flying away for more than 5 minutes.
So, he decided to keep her secret.
I think without me saying anymore, people can guess where this will go and how they will get closer.

So, stupid Romcom with flying panties...anyone in?

Well, more characters get introduced who also suffers from what's called "Refractive Desire" and it is induced from the girl's wish, desire or feelings.

The premise doesn't really sound interesting, but I just can't help but wonder how a pair of worn panties can fly away every 5 minutes.

I get the feeling that the title ("The Heroine of My Love Comedy Can't Wear Panties") kind of is the synopsis.

I'm guessing "fly" here means more like "fly off" than "fly away," but without seeing the Japanese I can't be sure. And with light novels, you never know...

              @kevin-s
This is not a translated synopsis, my Japanese ain't that good.
Basically, I checked the synopsis and various amazon reviews and tried to explain it.
So any phrases issues are on me.

More than it "fly away" as "soar away", I meant she just can't keep it on.

Basically, MC is kinda misogynic, on account of some old trauma, so when we got the "lucky pervert" moment that let him know she was walking "no-pan", he, naturally, was dubious of her and her "supernatural" reason to be "no-pan".
(I remember someone saying If you're a bit sensitive to mysogynic talk then the start of the novel might be difficult to you due to the MC's words)
Well, he gets better after meeting the heroine (ofc) and in the other volumes, they meet more people affected by this wish/desire-induced 'supernatural' phenomenon.

So it isn't gynophobia like in Mayo Chiki, he's actually really misogynistic?

It's ticking boxes other than that, so it may depend how it is handled.

Since I haven't read the work itself (due to lack of translation), so can't say with high degree of certainty, but that's what I got, yeah.

But then again, it won an award. And the author seems to be pretty productive.
I can see why this series makes you curious.

When I said "how it was handled", I mean I'd like it if he starts like that & then shows personal growth over time. If he stays like that & it is just played for comedy that's pretty lazy meh writing IMO.

From what I got, he does change by the end of the volume.
                        They praised character development.
However, they kinda criticized the prose itself—being a bit rough around the edges but praised the author's improvement in the later volumes.
