I looked through the 1st 6 of 13 pages & found no mention of a TTS usage. Now at 48, reading is getting a bit tedious on my eyes so I no preffer text to talk on my android. I have no problem with it on this website in the forum here but it only reads out the j-novel club banner section in your novels. Will the novel pages change & it read the novels out if I decide I would pay for a membership or if I use your app where? If the app, what is the link to the android app?

@bravo0723 I read some people managed to make it work through web browser via reading mode or something and through app using some kind of "read from screen" OS feature or something like that. There's no official TTS support so you need to use some browser's or OS tools to locate and read that text (which may not be very reliable).
You can also try my app, it has built-in TTS (hooked to android's TTS).

J-novel's official app is available through google's play store and apple's app store and you don't really need a membership to try it out — all features should work on free account except most of parts will be locked (with big exceptions of Rokujouma and first volume of Isekai Mahou which are perpetually available for free). Note that even getting membership won't unlock everything (see the monthly 'I'm confused' thread)

If the prepub system doesn't work for you you can also buy full ebooks instead and use TTS with those.

I use TTS on all J-Novel stuff. I wouldn't mind a native option in the app, but for now I use the website in the mobile browser to access it. Some troubleshooting for that on Android:

          1. Log in to the mobile site. Get to the book part you want read aloud.
          2. Try either Talkback (you can change it to "Shake to Speak for Continuous Reading") or Select to Speak (button press; works really well on my current phone, but didn't work on my old phone).
          3. If it doesn't play, try opening the page in Desktop view, then repeat step 2.

With the Epubs, I stick them in EReader Presitigio or Google Play Books to have them read aloud easily enough.

I use the native tts feature on my iphone, and it works with the beta version of the app with the prepubs. You need to get an invitation email for TestFlight though, since the old version on the AppStore doesn’t have a continuous scroll feature.

Thanx, but as I have an LG G3 it only has 3 buttons. Vol Up, On/Off & Vol Down. So controling the talk back is a total bitch.
                I use @Voice Allowed Reader $ version.
If I can ever get a iso of win 10 x64 I might be able to get my laptop working again without having to lose everything in it if I just reinstall win 8. But even though I've d/l the iso to my cell it is just over 4 gb & won't transfer to a thumb drive & I can't get my laptop to recognize my LG 3 in uts condition to use it as a drive to boot from.
100% disabled & no way to get the info through another comp to reformat a thumb to ntsf or move the iso to my pirtable hdd.
I'll just live with having to read roku v8 when I get to it for now then my cell will work with the newer volumes.

@_08 thank you for your info but though I read through your link, I only saw i fo on your updates no d/l link for your app

On my Google Pixel, the Select to Speak pops up on the bottom of the screen (little dude icon), and when you turn it on a virtual button appears on the touch screen. So there's no physical buttons being used.

I used Internet Explorer yesterday on my PC, and it has full screen text to speech built in to that browser. Very nice. The only not nice thing is the voice selection (I prefer those Google Brit voices).

Edit: It is Microsoft Edge, not Internet Explorer. Whoops.

                    I used Internet Explorer

IE is kinda dead and last I checked it didn't work well with JNC. MS Edge is recommended instead.

Oh, it is actually Edge. I just saw the E in the logo and assumed Internet Explorer.

Yeah, I like it for now because it has built in text to speech. There's a third party extension on Google Chrome called TTS Reader or something that I used previously, and that one has the very basic Google voices (before the latest update).

                        @_08

M-Edge, Does that work with Android v6?
I do have chrome & firefox installed. I believe there is s generic browser included as well though my short term memory has been hell since being disabled after going through my last windshield March 2003 but my long-term has noticeably degrading since at least 2009 & have only been able to remember how to build my last PC @ 2012.
Now not only can I not sit long enough to build one or reach around to do so but with the long term memory loss along with the newer parts & software, I am to much at a loss as to just what's what.
I know I can't highlight the text from a chapter in this website on my cell to try to get it to be read with my @voice so that it will be read out as it turns the page when trying to select it & I can't get it to open in my FBReader app.
If there is an easy & reliable app I may try to give it a shot but as only v8 of Roku(something) is all I really need it for once I get to that volume if I even like the books well enough, there is nothing else that I need it for right now in the way of LN's.
I actually purchased v2 & v3 of Youjo Senki a few weeks ago & have the app from that store that sold them as well but I couldn't get it to read them with TTS so I got lucky & somehow found the website that I'd been using before I had reset my laptop to the April update just after the late July & Aug 2 update when the Laptop had started giving me troubles (what ever program I'd used didn't how my any newer backups even though id created one just before resetting it through that program. After reverting to the April update I couldn't boot up & though it will now show only the 2 reset points just before those two critical updates (@July 26 & Aug 2)at this point it says something about needing to enable something to make them accessible somehow & then try again. Can't be done with my know-how that I still posses. Suffering through now trying to use Android cell for the time being as I have to much on hdd I don't want to lose if I just reinstall win 8.

Have an .iso of win 10 (1803? I believe) but can't get it to be seen through usb port from cell & cell won't recognise my 2-4tb Toshiba & Silicon Power portables as I'd made them all ntsf formatted to hold copies of all my 15gb-60gb movies for safe keeping. Cell says their unrecognizable & to reformat them.
Thumb drives are recognisable but though my .iso from December that is just over 3gb fits non of my 8gb-64gb thumbs will take the 4.2+gb newest .iso nor let me unzip into the thumb once I tried zipping it & was able to move that copy into it. Have tried using my Sony kdl-w800c as a medium to move the .iso to the hdd's but non of the apps work either.
Not sure if even worth it though as the laptop says something about not possible to boot from usb even when I try seeing what would happen if I had it try with my Dec 2017 copy I already have on an hdd.
Really is a damned nuisance as it gets me frustrated not being able to remember how to do what I could have previously done in my sleep as well as not being able to sit up long enough to figure it out before the pain overwhelms & incapacitates me. I've given up on it for the time being before I hurl my laptop against the wall or smash it with a hammer.
Well thank you for the suggestions you've tried to give me but as they don't seem to apply to "easily" working with my Android v6 LG g3 I'll live with what I've got for the time being. I know the talk back option is definitely out as it frustrates my anxiety to a point that I've thrown my cell against the wall a couple times trying to use it.

That Microsoft Edge built in TTS function is in the PC version. I've never tried Edge on phone, so dunno if it is the same.

                            https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.emmx

Same for that Google Chrome extension; it's for the PC.

On Android, I just stick with built in Talkback or select to speak, yeah.
