        Testing

        spoiler

Edit - It doesn't show up with the spoiler button/what not in the preview so I wasn't quite sure if it would work.

I hope this feature gets much use in general volume threads. Then I can enter them while reading. =)

                Momonga's racial specific skill is

                spoiler

Yeah, that's perfect. It's easy to use, and now I don't have to meticulously word my comments to prevent spoilers! The reddit spoiler tags are a pain in the arse to use, so this is great.

                  Probably won't ever use this

Edit: Shouldn't it show the spoiler thing on the preview?

It may be an intended feature, but clicking the spoiler boxes doesn't work for me when not logged in (no new text is displayed). Tested with Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. They do work fine when logged in.

Even when logged on, the spoiler boxes don't work for me. Made sure none of my stuff is blocking it, either.

@DTTA Can you explain what "don't work" means exactly? You click on them and they don't expand?

I am using the latest firefox build, and disabled adblock and noscript, to make sure it's not on my end.

And yeah, They show up, but when I click on them, nothing appears.

I'd like to add that clicking when not logged in alternates between crossed and non-crossed eye without showing content. Clicking in FF while logged in won't cause change of icon or show contents, refreshing page may solve the problem (usually not on first try). Observed both on PC and Android's Firefox.

Huh, this is right. Sometimes - not always - refreshing the page makes the spoilers work. That is very strange!

@DTTA I'm curious: A time when the spoiler isn't working can you go into developer console and see if the content is even loaded in the DOM? It's always there just hidden with a display: none in CSS, the spoiler button is a javascript trigger that toggles the css class of the content.

@Sam-Pinansky It does this when working properly. When it doesn't, spoiler contents are never loaded and HTML stays in initial state, "data-open" doesn't change either.

I'll see if anyone notices a new post in lieu of starting a new thread. How do people think we should use spoilers on the forum?

Mentioning something from a volume ahead of the volume # for the thread is an obvious time to use spoiler tags. But should discussing content the most recently released part, in its respective volume thread, require spoiler tags? I don't know how likely people are to be behind on the releases and visiting the thread for that volume.

The other question is speculation of unrevealed info or future events based on information in the already released parts/volumes. The way I view it is that its unnecessary to spoiler tag theories that are based purely on what's been released so far. A case study might be my (currently not spoiler tagged) speculation discussing content from My Big Sister Lives... volume 4 part 1 and previous volumes.
