Smash Bros Nintendo Direct: August 8

Smash Direct happens in a little over two days. YouTube link is already up.
Any hype? Any characters you want to see on the roster?
I don't really have a great feel for anyone that is a shoe-in. I certainly hope for some characters that I think are possible (K Rool, Elma, Pyra) and some that are unlikely (Peg Knight / Wyvern Knight from FE, Captain Syrup). I feel like there's a certain 3rd party character that may explode into SSB, as well as one that may Unite Up with his friends to join the competition.

The whole system of the support characters in Xenoblade 2 could be interesting. You can summon a bunch of different ones with cubes iirc.
I really ought to finish that game. Last I remember, I was in the Whale thingamajig that swallows Rex and co and couldn't figure out where to go. xC

Crunchyroll and Funimation both Tweeted about the Smash Bros Direct. So Twitter has decided that means Goku is coming to SSB. In the words of Yuta Gamon:
"The source is Twitter, home of the stupidest people on the internet. Rip it apart"
(Was that quote in the anime? I'd love to have a GIF / image of it since it'd get a workout).
