Description:
The protagonist fell asleep while playing an online game. However, he awoke in a strange world with his game character’s appearance. In a state of shock, he noticed that he was equipped with nothing but his strongest weapon and armor. To make matters worse, our hero’s appearance was changed by the special avatar skin『Skeleton』when he entered this new world. The protagonist wanted to live without drawing attention, but he got acquainted with the dark elf Ariana and received her request.

I've read the fan translation ( I think it was of the web novel). This is one I really enjoyed.

I've read the fan translation up to the start of volume 3, but I started in the middle since I first read the scanlated manga chapters. I left it on hold cause of time. But now that the main story is complete with volume 8 (according to the author afterword), I'd like to resume it. If it gets an official translation that would just make it another big plus for starting it properly from scratch.

Yeah, I would love to see this receive a translation by J-Novel. This is one of maybe 3 light novels that I really wish would have an official translation. If a physical release of this (as well as Demon lord's aide, and reborn as a dragon egg) could happen I would be super happy.
P.S. When I saw Demon lord's aide was licensed by J-Novel I actually leapt out of my chair, I was so happy. Thanks J-Novel!

Really would love this to have an official translation. Has a very interesting plot premise and world-building that I'd love to see in English.

I request this as well. I have a weakness for Skeleton characters and I'm fine with the writing and the setting in this.

I read a bit of the manga adaptation, and was quite charmed by the protagonist, since he seems pretty peppy and upbeat despite his circumstances. I'm not sure whether this is native to the original novel, though? I hope it is. Throwing my vote in with that in mind.
