So there are a lot of new titles to pick which did you guys pick first to read?
I personally picked Märchen der Werwolf: The Annals of Veight, because I fell in love with the illustration. I am already finished with the 4 parts that are currently out. I must admit I love it so far, and sure am glad I picked it first. What I like about it is that in some ways it reminds me of Realist Hero but it has its limitations like how the mc isn’t the absolute ruler and gives us a POV of how a subordinate would choose to rule with limited power.

I'm starting with Hayakawa titles because they are more unusual and there's only one part available with one volume in total so it won't result in inflating backlog too much.

I'm probably only going to read Werewolf, Seirei Gensouki, and maybe gear drive.
most of the announcements didn't appeal to me, but still with slave elf that's 3 to 4 new series that i'll be reading so all good.

Out of all of the titles that were announced, I'm only interested in reading dungeon master and Seirei Gensouki. Will probably read dungeon master first since the volume will complete sooner since I rather wait for the full books to be available.

Well, I read the idol one yesterday, because it seemed the most unique one, and intend to read everything else over the weekend in some arbitrary order.

I had to go with Gear Drive first. I was pretty happy with it. Now the wait for new parts begins.

@jaquobus that was going to be my 3rd choice to read. Still is since I haven’t read the others yet.

For the titles that technically fall under "new", I've been following Elf Bride, because I read the fan translation and it was more or less to my tastes, assuming I ignored the usual light novel cliche of slavery. I mostly wanted the fluffy sweet awkward romantic exploration comedy.

For the titles announced at Anime Expo, probably Gear Drive, Kokoro Connect, and Amagi Brilliant Park. I've seen the anime for AmaBri, and felt it was decent (if not especially stunning), so I figured I might as well give the light novel version a chance. Kokoro Connect is on my Anime To Watch list, since I've heard good things about it. And Gear Drive, which I know nothing about, completes the set of licences so far that don't sound like they are way too dark or serious for me, since I mainly just want to read happy fluffy series.

I'm behind on a bunch of existing series, so I'm not sure what I'll actually end up having time to read, but in a (very) rough order of interest:

                        Orphen
                        Werewolf
                        Seirei Gensouki
                        Amagi Brilliant Park
                        Gear Drive

I'm gonna check them all out except Last and First Idol and JK Haru is a Sex Worker in Another World. Horror and dark humor are not really my thing. I'll probably have a look at them later on if I have time maybe, not sure.

I’ll try to read them all but started with Sorcerous Stabber because it’s so 90af looking. First part was funnier than I expected and I’m really looking forward to working my way through.

I will give anything a try. I will try to read all the volume ones of the new stuff, You just do not know what you will like and what you will not like. Not until you read it at least.

JK Haru first - I wanted to see if I was going to accept it or bin it. I think with the Aimee as editor, it's coming across as tastefully done, and I'm looking forward to the rest. Also it's a stand alone book, so I don't have to think about a series, but merely to enjoy the story as is.

Now I'm on Gears - this is the one that really piqued my interest, as it has the Arifureta vibe of "being useless". Unlike Arifureta, I think my kids will love this - especially my daughter! Blonde hair like herself? Check. Has twintails like herself? Check. Wears a crown like she tries to all the time? Check. Tons of fun? check!) I'm hoping that the language and tone of the story will stay tame, and if it does, that's another book for my kids to enjoy!

Next will be Amagi Brilliant Park. After that... don't know. What I do know is that I need more reading time!

I've read AmaBri and Gear of the new new stuff. Next up is either Marchen or Seirei, not sure which is going to be first though. Orphen I might pick up for the nostalgia factor, and the rest I'm kinda meh on, but that could easily change.

Either the controversial one or the Hayakawa short story. Need something different in my reading.

I'm very interested I'm that Seirei one.

I really love the way JNC are branching out. There’s such a wide range of Japanese fiction, it’s so good to see more of it come over! Now, to convince them mysteries could sell...
