Chapters not loading

Chapters are not loading on my desktop PC. I click on the chapter title or number, it goes to a gray screen and then ... nothing. It just stays there. I've tried on both Chrome and Microsoft Edge, same problem. I've tried turning off my ad-blocker and that didn't help,
Chapters load fine on my iphone, though. Any ideas?

Have you tried logging in via incognito? If that works, then it could be another add-on or extension causing the problem, or you might want to trying clearing your browsing cache and cookies.

I was wondering, I only get so far in the chapters of ascendance of a bookworm then get to a page that says error not allowed. As a regular member do I not get to read the complete story?

See here but a membership gets you access to the recently translated volume divided in parts every week or the series available on Catchup. -
If you are subscribed as a “member” or a “premium member” you can access any of the available parts of Bookworm. Currently that includes all of Part 4 V7, and the first 4 parts of Part 4 V8

After reading through so many pages I encounter this message. Is that normal, is it just the end of that chapter & I just have to open the next chapter?

Which part of which volume exactly are you trying to read? There are volumes that have expired parts, and volumes with unexpired parts that members should be able to read.

Just going to ask, are you a current active subscribed member of J-Novel Club?
If you are not subscribed you can read the part 1 previews of all of J-Novel Club’s library, anything more would either require purchasing the book, or being a paid subscriber who can read the available parts that have not expired.
I only ask because when I log into my second account with no active subscription, I get the code you pasted.

@Rahul-Balaggan I just started my membership today. I was on part 3 volume 2 from the main list or if you go by what the top of the page says it is volume 2 part 1.

Gotcha, so just to reiterate a point from before, anything before Part 4 V7 is currently expired, and not available to subscribers.
If you want to read any content before Part 4 V7 you would have to purchase the book

@Olgentyre Just to add, I am a current subscribed member and everything was working fine until a few days ago. I don't think anything's changed! I cleared my cache and history, but that didn't help.

@Olgentyre Is this affecting every part you try to read, both light novel and manga? Are you able to load any of the free part 1 previews?

@myskaros Thank you for the suggestion. Ingcognito worked - everything loaded perfectly. Now I just have to figure out why it won't work normally!

@Olgentyre That points to one of your add-ons causing the problem. If you try turning them off one by one, you might be able to figure out which one it is, then either uninstall it or add our website to its exceptions list.
