      I signed up for the year but now I can't access any of the new releases chapters....

        Are you logged in?

        The site will automatically log you out every two weeks.

        (The forum login is separate and has no forced logout)

              Unless you refresh your browser cache, it will still show you as logged in even though you have actually been given the boot.
              The browsers don't appear to detect it as an action which automatically generates a cache refresh.
              The web site itself is very aware that it did give you the boot.
              It's irritating as all get-out.
