      Hey all,

I'm rereading By the Grace of the Gods recently since it's been a while since I started the series. I've caught up to the recent volumes and wanted to purchase the last two. I got volume 9 with a credit already present on my account, but I needed to get another credit to actually get my hands on volume 10. However, when I go to buy a new credit, I get the error listed in this post's title (The 1C is actually a 1 with a credit icon next to it).

I've got a premium membership and the price listed for credits seems to reflect that, not to mention the fact that I can see my library just fine when I navigate to the library page, so I'm sure I'm properly logged in. I've also used this card before and it doesn't expire until 2026, so that's not likely it. I don't see anything that would be causing me to get this error, so I am pretty sure this is a bug. Any help would be appreciated, but I've got some time before I finish rereading volume 9, so I'm not in too much of a rush.

For any issues related to payment or purchases, it would be best to email support@j-novel.club as you probably don't want to share private information on our public forum :)

@myskaros Fair enough. I just wanted to check to see if "invalid account" was something known beforehand as that might've been about a weird setting rather than my payment information. I'll check with the email then. Thanks

I think I figured it out. My card was declining the purchase but that error message wasn't showing up on my bank's site. I only found out when I checked my email.

I do think the error message could've been more clear that it was an issue with the card, but I believe I can get this worked out.
