As title. I'm really enjoying this series (mainly due to the Myucel and Shinichi moments lul). It would be sad if they discountinued it mid way just like the chinese translated version :(

Well, I think that the plan is to translate it completely. Unless some kind of really bad issue happens along the way. And so far JNC has not dropped any novel, so we should be quite safe on that too.

@asdfjackal yes, were you just being curious or was there some specific reason you were asking (like V4 not being in the release schedule, which there is a very good reason for not being in there).

Sorry but J-Novel Club does not publicly comment on any potential licensing decision or acquisitions.

It has already been mentioned that they license title volumes by batches, so it's probably just that the next volumes haven't been thrown into the schedule yet.

            Just a matter of time.

@tako Usually when the current volume is done translating they take a 1-2 week break while they wait for the english cover of the next book to be approved. Once the cover is approved they add the next volume to the schedule, and so on. Usually by the time a couple of parts of the next volume are translated the ebook of the previous volume is published too.

@terabyte As long as Sam makes good on his promise to finish the epoch-defying, world-shaking Siskan, that is. It must be about 7 months since the first part of Vol 4 was published and the literati has been waiting with baited breath for the remaining parts of the volume. (I joke, but honestly I do enjoy the bug-fuck strangeness that is Siskan and me and four others will be sad if it never finishes)

ahahah, thanks for the heads up. I've been a premium member for a little over a week so I wasn't aware of that.

We shall summon @Sam-Pinansky to remind him about the promise just in case then!

@terabyte Yeah, I know. I have maybe 3 months to finish 4 before I'm in danger of losing the license ;)

@sam-pinansky Ah, the old reassurance by procrastination. It is my constant companion in university.

@legitpancake I suspect Sam will finish the fourth volume in one crazy flurry of insomniatic caffeine-fueled activity on the night before the deadline if he’s like I was in school.
