I am really struggling to get to the end of this novel. It seems every other sentence has some ridiculous typo. Several of the chapter titles are in the wrong font. Names and pronouns are mixed up. At a certain point it has become so unpleasant an experience it feels like I should get my money back. Please review this book and re edit.

      Thank you.

Are you reading the prepub version or the published epub/printed version? The published versions have additional editing based so should have fewer errors. I've generally found the quality of the translations to be very high.

        Stay shiny, y'all.

Are you reading it using an app, or a browser?

I just went through the first 3 parts in the pre-pub using the web browser reader, and all seemed to be fine.

@shiny I read on my phone. I purchase the books and click Read Now, I’m not sure which version that may be. If there is a better edited version then great.

I’ll also say this is the only book of the series I’ve had so much trouble with, but it’s a lot. I could likely screenshot any individual page on my phone and give you 2 or more mistakes. Volumes 1 and 2 were much smoother.

That sounds like the prepubs. If you go to your user account, in your personal library you should be able to download an epub version. That'll have much better editing on it. The prepubs are prepublication documents that don't always have the mistakes corrected in them.

Also from the series page, if you click on Owned instead of Read Now you will be brought to the page where the downloads are.

@lcglassman It sounds like you are trying to read a machine translation and not this site's official translation....

@lcglassman you will need to provide example of errors. It sound like you read prepub version. The "Read Now" option goes to prepub. All the Read Now are essentially drafts. The final version is where you have to download it

I assume you meant you used a credit on the JNC site/app to get the ebook? if so the "read now" isn't accessing the epub file you paid for (the JNC site/app does NOT have an ePub reader)

you have to download the file from your library -then read it in the ePub app you use(if you downloaded one) if you have an iPhone the 'Books' will open the file, if you have an Android the 'Google Play Books' app is the default, if you have a windows or blackberry phone...get a new phone

if you purchased from bookwalker/kindle the files will open up in those respective apps

reading in JNC site/app will be 'raws' or prepublication versions -- will have errors that ere corrected prior to final release (they don't go back and fix errors in the pre-pubs)
                      reading anything on JNC site

                      I read banned books

IIIRC when I started catching up recently using the prepubs, around volume 3 was when a lot more uncorrected errors started showing up, but whenever I compared with the epub they were all already fixed.

@jon-mitchell Ish. The new app has your purchases (from j-novel directly, of course) built right in, which is super handy.
