IMO it's worth it even if it's just to get access to the premium credits, those exclusive side-stories are worth it, and given that you get a free credit every month, that already has a 6$ value, and first month you get not 1 but 2 credits (when you sign up and on the 15th) so even if you subscribe now you could buy both epubs once it's out for a lot less than if you bought the non-premium version on amazon (which come without the extra side-stories) and from then on you can just read the series as it comes out, downgrade to a normal membership or whatever, but if you're following at least 3 series, a monthly credit would be in your best interest since you can get more credits for 6$ instead of 7$ (non-premium members).

I think it is my favorite light novel series I have ever read. It wasn't just a harem with a click bait title. The characters are fleshed out and it feels like a great adventure.

I just finished volume 2 and i cant wait to read more of this.

@Hakomari Eh, this one isn't as big of a draw for me, although it's interesting to see that it has won some awards. If they have a really good promotion or it gets a lot of good reviews I might check it out.

I suppose while I know some things, unfortunately enough, light novel specific things are a lot more iffy. Huh.

Anyway the first three Boogipop LNs are getting a digital release, so maybe continuing with these may be sooner than I expected.

And besides the physical releases of JNC stuff, they got Toradora as well (YES!), so there's absolutely no way any of us can say they haven't been doing light novels again anymore.

IMO, she's supposed to sound monotone (please note that I haven't watched the anime, because I try not to watch series if I'm working on the novel version so I don't get bored).

In text, the way they speak can be conveyed a number of ways, but with RyuZU:

We keep most of her dialogue uncontracted (for the most part, it's cannot instead of can't, etc). Part of this comes down to her background in general, but it helps give a feel of monotone/stuffiness, as well as vocabulary choice. When's the last time you heard someone with a huge vocabulary sound excited?

Her actions. In novels, you can just as easily say "she spoke in a monotone voice." The author hasn't done that yet, though, but lets her other actions speak for her. She often has a calm/blank look on her face and her movements are very calculated. Using past cues from other books people have read, it's easy to create the monotone feel based on other things aside from just how her voice would sound.

However, she does occasionally have (small) bouts of emotion. :)

But I know one guy on animesuki forum, we call him erotora, he is a true hentai master :D (I know just some LN/WN here and there)

I didn´t read mixed bathing actually. But I don´t like that kind of censorship that you mention. I still wait for Sam to license Hagure Yuusha cuz it is HJ I think and written by Shinmai author :D

@Sam-Pinansky Right now, so long as Grimgar and Invaders continue till the stories are finished, I am happy. And if it means buying all the volumes that I've already read, then that's what I'm going to do.

It's been a while since I've been able to really get into a good read. Recently I've found a host of them... is it ok to pick up a girl in a dungeon, legendary moonlight sculptor, gun otaku in another world, and now this.

Less than 24 hours to complete the read and worth every minute. (I really couldn't put it down).

I can't wait for vol 2, and ended up finding this site.

Now, if it's only let me upgrade without paying first price I could read more. (So I might not even be renewing membership.)

Downside, I'd have to wait longer for vol3...
