@Korppi@b-scot-morgan We'd finished work on this pretty far in advance and it looks like we went a day or two early with retail (we're trying to get manga closer to end of streaming in general).
@mortcs Yeah, It is Baiser's fault for breaking Azure. As @pcj and @Geezer-Weasalopes have said, Baiser is just kinda winging it and didn't have a good grasp of Azure's limits. Both of them clearly had different expectations in where this was going, and how long it was going to take to get there.
Our regular manga releases always contained all extras that we have available to us, so the new premium manga obtained directly on our website does not include any additional bonuses beyond what the regular edition already has.
Ok, that makes sense. So basically the same as what the old list had, then.
Heck that scene was a lot more engaging in the manga than in the LN. Maybe it is the maniacal laughter or the Kelvin-worthy grins, but this scene was pretty fun.
@Weasalopes Usually JNC tries to match translations. That aside, considering what the skill does the word honest simply doesn't work at all compared to reprise. I'm not really sure if the RAWs use different words, but the words don't even have a similar meaning in this case. 🙄
"Gushing over Magical Girls" is now the first J-Novel Club title to be sold on Fakku! Since the Amazon preorder was rejected super quick, this is a nice more stable home, and technically the first time a DRM-free JNC manga will be available :) https://twitter.com/FAKKU/status/1532170839969320960
I'd already gotten it via Kobo, but decided it was time I actually purchased something using the account I established at Fakku! some three years back...
Just to help provide positive purchase data for them.
@Weasalopes If we do, it'll be in the opening chapter of Volume 2, which seems... unlikely, in my opinion, but possible. But again, that's a V2 prediction, and we have to wait for that one.
@prometheus0000
It was noticed.
And reported on Discord 14 hours ago.
It's disconcerting, as usually such things are fixed very rapidly unless it happens on the weekend or otherwise while support is off duty.
Man, for all my bibliophile tendencies, the adage that a picture is worth a thousand words has never felt more true. That hit me WAY harder here in the manga than it did in the novels.
As for me, I was hoping he'd attack Old Man Sade (side note, is it just me or does this guy have the exact attitude Varian's brother didn't want to see in him? Why would you put someone like that in charge of educating your son that you want to be proud of?)
