Anime NYC 2022

Forgot to post this information after the previous announcement event, but J-Novel Club will be at Anime NYC this year with a booth and an industry panel! Stop by if you're attending to get some paraphernalia!
As usual, the panel will be live at the event, and a livestream may or may not be available depending on internet access at the venue and availability of staff or an audience volunteer. If you lurk on our Discord (link at the bottom of our main website), more information should be coming in live during the event.
Panel times
18:30-19:30 (6:30-7:30 PM) EST
15:30-16:30 (3:30-4:30 PM) PST
23:30-00:30 (11:30 PM-12:30 AM) UTCA recap of our announcements will be available on our Twitter sometime after the panel, so keep an eye out!

Anybody has any guesses about the new announcements?

The panel description on AnimeNYC's website already implies a new publisher and license:
Join J-Novel Club at Anime NYC 2022 for a panel filled with license announcements and updates! Plus, new Japanese publisher "Drecom Media" will be on stage! They will present “Blade and Bastard”, a new work by well-known writer "Kumo Kagyu" and famous illustrator "so-bin", with a PV, video commentary by the author, and more.
For context, that's Goblin Slayer's author with Overlord's illustrator, and the series is not even out in Japan I believe.
(The publisher also has something new from OreShura's author, which I care about, since it may increase the, I presume, unlikely chances of getting OreShura licensed, but I'll take what I can.)

I doubt beast tamer, but if it was that'd be a pleasant surprise, jnovel and seven seas have successfully picked up everything I've ever followed thus far. Doing gods work guys.

@myskaros There’s not a single letter “s” on that card. Is the convention saving money by not buying the whole alphabet, or did they use them up elsewhere? :p

Promoting Faraway Paladin kind of surprises me, since there's been no new content (afaik) for quite a while.
That said, I'm kind of obsessed with the carefully picked backdrops for each standee :D

Also cool in those standups, it's fun seeing how much basic character design has changed from when Lina was made to the current era.
Those things are super neat, is what I'm saying!

Recent anime and has another season coming. Also it's one of a relatively small number of series in print, so it's worth promoting for that aspect alone. Plus it's very, very good.
