@Zehd Print editions are listed via our print distributor, and Villainess is released as a J-Novel Heart title in the print edition.
As for why there's no cover... can't say. It's in the distributor's system...

You guys might be the last hope we have of seeing Seikai fully translated. Tokyopop stopped relatively early in the series and their translations were garbage anyway.
To be fair, that you guys decided to pick up this old novel series is a minor miracle already. Even more so considering how famously hard it is to translate.

@myskaros Being a fan of Seikai is difficult. The first volume is going to be 30 in a few years. We're just used to stuff going horribly wrong so any delay sets our alarms off.
For you to have an idea, when the news of the delay came the very first thing asked in the kin of the stars discord was "are they dropping it?". Lol.

@Paul-Nebeling I don't recall seeing anywhere that it was dropped? :P And I think you can understand that I can't really speak to projects involving my boss other than "it hasn't been dropped."

@myskaros Dropped no, but that last volume has been waiting to be translated for a very long time. Yes, I know Sam is busy and doesn't necessarily have the time to translate it. I'm just hoping it gets done before the license expires, though I'm pretty sure Sam can wrangle an extension if he needs to. Handing it of to another translator, while an option, wouldn't be my choice.
Yeah, I am aware that I'm poking the bear. I've said enough. Moving on.

@Paul-Nebeling According to dictionary.com and urban dictionary, a “scab” worker is a temporary one who takes the place of another worker on strike. So just sounds like a replacement translator who is reading the series to be acquainted with the style and story, but hasn’t officially been revealed yet.

A scab doesn't have to be temporary or indeed a new worker, they could just be someone who is not respecting a union strike for example. In this case it seems to indicate someone who will be working in Sam's stead as a translator. A less pejorative term could have been to call them a locum, stand-in or replacement translator.
It is possible that Sam is unaware of the extent to which 'scab' is a charged term for a strikebreaker in some communities.
