@tgquan67 They can probably go further with Seirei Gensouki than vol 3. There's a lot of scenes they could cut in vol 1-3. Ending at vol 3 also won't answer what happened to Miharu and the existence of Aishia that is hinted at in vol 1-2.

@stardf29 That’s the thing though; With the exception of Arifureta and maybe Grimgar, there are very few stories that could have a lot of episodes from just a book’s worth of material.
If I recall correctly, didn’t Rokujouma!? adapt nearly a novel an episode? -
@oathkeeper95 I think it was two episode per novel.

@oathkeeper95 Every two episodes, and they did that by cutting most of the slice of life events that took place in the first half of every volume.

Wait wut? There’s only 12 episodes? 12!?!? If that’s true than... They literally cut it just as the story was starting to get good!!! -

@oathkeeper95 Yea, I'm not sure I'll ever forgive the anime production staff for stopping at that point. The anime should have been at least 2 cour.

@eternal-wanderer I know right? At least end it with the play! That way it draws more interest into what happened while Koutarou and Clan were pulled away and how they became comrades!!!
And after that, fans would have been pinning over finding out so much that they would have gotten a special and then they’d get renewed for a season 2... God this series is just so damn good!!!
Okay, after I finish my reread of Arifureta, I’m doing a Rokujouma bingfest. AGAIN! -
@oathkeeper95 Sadly I think the chance to get more invaders anime had passed us by, we'll hopefully be able to get some drama cds at least when j novel club launches their Kickstarter.

Now it occurs to me that Arifureta while being a thrill-ride has absolutely no good stopping points outside of Volume 1 until the actual end of the series... If they don’t do this like a mini Naruto than people are going to be pissed as hell.
