I am going to highlight what I said about picking up books by Small or new Authors because I strongly believe it is better, in the long run, to pick up things like games or books that are not well known or stuff you would not normally buy; this expands your horizon. There is one book I got written by a local author from a Fan Expo that I would not have gotten if I did not attend. For those wondering the book is called Fatespinner by S K Aetherphoxx and the second book came out recently (boy I really need to finish that book). long story short is I strongly recommend at the very least look out for those hidden Gems because only 1% of great stories will get the public attention like LOTR or GOT and will overshadow those smaller stories that deserve recognition. not everyone will have money to spare on stuff they may not like so if you do find something that interests you or even something that does not you can search online and see what people think about it.

I love otherworld, OP, harem stories. Some of my favorites are The Demon Lord's Urban Development, Mushoku Tensei, Hachinan tte, Sore wa Nai Deshou!, and To Deprive a Deprived Person. A few two person romances have captured my heart: My Pet is a Holy Maiden and Risou no Himo Seikatsu. I'm also using this opportunity to say I'm a fanatical follower of A Dark Rabbit Has Seven Lives. I've rewatched the anime until every line was burned into my brain.

Literally some examples of the policy changes the main character institutes: "Hey racism is bad. Don't be racist against the undead, especially cute mummy girls."
"Oh wow we never realised mummies look just like people except with bandages on, and that if you put the cute mummy with giant boobs in a dress she looks like a beautiful girl!"
"Oh wow, the gods literally indicated to us that they approve of your new "don't be racist" law, you're a genius and a natural leader! None of our previous rulers ever considered not being racist."

I might buy one of the volumes on Bookwalker JP and then do the same, but I'll bide my time for now.
I'm eyeing Gamers! volumes on discount right now. You guys think the ship has sailed on Gamers!, or is licensing still a good possibility from one of Kadokawa's English pubs (Yen + Bookwalker)? I hate to buy something, then see it got licensed... But 30 JPY is really cheap.

@terrence Ohhh, the series is already complete with 7 volumes it seems which makes it a plus for me. And I see there is the first volume fan translated back in 2012/2013. I'll have a quick read through to see if it's interesting. That said, I'll wait for it to get picked up and translated officially. I don't understand a thing of Japanese and I won't buy untranslated LNs :)

It's less the ship has sailed, and more like they refuse to let the ship even be built with Kadokawa. We just need Kadokawa to license freely to all publishers.

We are at least getting a Fujimi Shobo novel now from Yen Press with Mommy Isekai. So hopefully that opens things up with regards to other pubs too, but we'll see.
I ended up grabbing novel 1 of that one I was looking at from Bookwalker JP, so I'll give it a try at some point and report back. =]

There're no problems with ecchi. Mixed Bathing is one of my favorite series from J-Novel Club. -
@galactuskahn24 yeah as @Aruseus493 said there is no problem with ecchi or fanservice. if anything it only matters how the fanservice is executed. one thing you could look at for Fanservice is, is it Fanservice for the viewer or for the characters?
