@Jon-Mitchell Volume 11 was released ~2 years after V10. And, considering how much messed up the story has been so far, I think the author simply has no idea on how to give it a proper some kind of ending. I'm not too worried V13 has been canceled since it's been already announced. (And you also have to consider all the crap they've published in the past volumes so far, canceling it now before the final volume would give a worse impression imo...)

A lot of Finnish names the author uses, Kaltiainen, Valjakka, Juutilainen. Juutilainen brothers is pretty interesting because there were the famous Juutilainen brothers in the Finnish wartime, where the older one became a national hero in the battle of Kollaa and later became famous in the French Foreign Legion, and the younger was THE top flying ace of Finland at the time(94 confirmed aerial combat victories in 437 sorties).

There was one instance in the previous volume as well, 'tonto' is likely after 'tonttu' which means an elf or gnome who are usually regarded as assistants to Santa Claus.

@Malloc sure, linking to other sites that have the information would be better than manually updating that, but having all the right links in one place for all JNC titles would be nice.

Also, I don't think the grouping of (JNC has the license and volumes are already out) vs. (new volume not out and/or not yet licensed) would be setting expectations too high for any reasonable reader. Saying the license has already been negotiated for the next volume isn't promising it will start appearing in x weeks.

@cibastian There’s sort of a workaround for this. (Again, not ideal.) If you go to the Search page, open up Advanced Search, and scroll down to Categories, you can select Members and check the box for “Search child categories” to get everything in the Members section. You could also select multiple categories if there are any series that you don’t follow. On the plus side, you can save Search Preferences, but the links always take you to the beginning of the thread.

As much as I want them to, and for the Fa clan to grow, I just don’t see that happening, at least not any time soon.

One of the main reasons is we are now 6 books deep but in the world of the story it has not even been 2 full months. If time continues to pass at that rate it will just be strange for Ai Fa and Asuta to officially become romantically involved. Ai Fa herself will need serval months just to allow herself to be seems as a women.

@bartzbb While I am quite appreciative of the artistic appeal of a good illustration as wallpaper, I do have to wonder about copyright laws. While that usage would probably be covered by fair use under U.S. Copyright law. I have no idea about other countries.

Keep in mind, I grew up in an era where record companies balked (quite loudly) over making cross-media and backup copies of recordings for personal use. My POV is somewhat skewed.
